Award Winning Screen Writer – Brief Bio
The national award winning Screenplay writer was born at a small village called Korani at Attingal municipality in Trivandrum district in Kerala. He had his schooling in Nattakom Government Model high school at Kottayam district, Kerala . His pre degree was from S.B College Changanacherry; a Diploma in Electronics from Calicut D.G.E & T center and graduated with B.B.A. He earned his post graduate degree in
M.B.A(specializing in human resources management) from Edexel University, U.K. joshy started his job as H.R. & Admin Manager in a US-based company Dubai. Currently settled at Kerela. Born to Mr. Sudheendran, and (Late) Mrs. Lillykutty, he has two sisters Jothy Mangalath and Maya Mangalath. His spouse is Mrs.Sandhya (Daughter of famous musician (Late) Venmony Vijayakumar) and has two children, Nayan Joshy and Neil Joshy.

Ottaal
It is an adaptation of the world famous Russian writer Anton Chekhov’s short story ‘Vanka’.
The film made history, becoming the first ever Malayalam movie to have swept all the top awards in the 20-year history of the International Film Festival of Kerala. The film was one of four Malayalam films selected to be a part of the Indian Panorama at the International Film Festival of India in Goa in November 2015.
It received the National award for the Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation, the Award for best Film for Social Impact and Golden Gateway of India Award in Mumbai Film Festival, the Suvarna Chakoram (Best film) in International Film Festival of Kerala and won the best children’s film at the Berlin International Film Festival and was honoured with the Crystal Bear award in the “Generation KPlus” section.
